In a landmark step for the future of learning in the Kurdistan Region, the Ministry of Education, with the support of the Kurdistan Foundation, officially launched the E-Halsangandn digital education platform in Erbil. Expected to benefit more than two million students, teachers, and parents, the platform represents one of the most ambitious digital transformation initiatives ever introduced into the region’s public education system.
This announcement was made in a visit of a delegation of the Kurdistan Foundation to the Ministry of Education on November 24, 2025. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Dr. Alan Hama Saeed, the Minister of Education. Funded by Kurdistan Foundation, E-Halsangandn is designed to bring together every key actor in the learning process under one unified digital ecosystem. Its robust cloud-based architecture ensures stability and high performance, particularly during peak periods such as exam result days, making it a reliable tool for families and educators alike.
The launch of E-Halsangandn is the result of a strong partnership between three key institutions.
