This new phase was announced on January 13, 2026, during a special ceremony held at the Barzani Namir School, with presence of the Minister of Education, Kurdistan Foundation delegation and the media. This expansion now includes grades seven, eight, and nine of the intermediate stage in KRG schools, marking a significant national effort to modernize the education system and familiarize the new generation with the latest global technologies.
As part of its commitment to human capital development, the Kurdistan Foundation is providing full financial and technical support for this project. This sponsorship ensures the delivery of high-quality scientific content and effective instructional design, benefiting approximately 465,000 students and thousands of teachers throughout the Kurdistan Region.
This project goes beyond merely digitizing lessons; it integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the learning process. This advanced technology is designed to enhance student comprehension and provide essential tools to facilitate and streamline the teaching process for educators.
This partnership represents a strategic endeavor to build a skilled and visionary generation, prepared to lead in the fields of science and technology.
