Kurdistan Foundation Recognizes Volunteer Excellence with International Learning Opportunity

Ahmed Mohammed, one of the top three volunteers within Volunteer.KRD, has been recognized for his exceptional dedication after completing more than 350 hours of community service through the Kurdistan Foundation’s volunteer platform.

In recognition of his outstanding commitment and contribution to community development, the Kurdistan Foundation supported Ahmed’s participation in the Seminar on Dual-Carbon Technology and Sustainable Energy Development for “Belt and Road” Countries, organized by Harbin University of Commerce in the People’s Republic of China.

The seminar brought together participants from different countries to explore innovative approaches to sustainable energy, carbon reduction technologies, and international cooperation on climate and development goals. Ahmed’s participation reflects the Kurdistan Foundation’s belief in rewarding volunteerism with meaningful learning and leadership opportunities that extend beyond local engagement.

By investing in dedicated volunteers, the Kurdistan Foundation aims to empower youth with global exposure, advanced knowledge, and practical experience that can be applied to local community initiatives upon their return.

This achievement stands as a testament to the impact of volunteerism and the Kurdistan Foundation’s commitment to nurturing youth leadership through education, service, and international exchange.
