The Kurdistan Foundation completed the renovation of the learning hall at the Government Maternity Hospital in Erbil, on 6 September 2025 as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening education, community health, and the future of Kurdistan’s healthcare system.
The initiative aims to transform the learning environment for medical students and healthcare professionals, while also enhancing comfort for hospital staff and mothers. Through comprehensive improvements to the hall, the Foundation introduced modern learning equipment and upgraded facilities designed to support effective training, knowledge-sharing, and professional development.
By modernizing the learning space, the project contributes to improving the quality of medical education and creating a more functional and welcoming environment within one of Erbil’s key public healthcare institutions. The renovated hall is expected to support academic sessions, clinical discussions, and capacity-building activities for students and medical staff alike.
The renovation reflects the Kurdistan Foundation’s broader vision of investing in education as a pillar of sustainable development, recognizing the vital link between well-equipped learning environments and high-quality healthcare services.
Through initiatives that integrate education, health, and community support, the Kurdistan Foundation continues to play an active role in building resilient public institutions and supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals in the Kurdistan Region.
