The Kurdistan Foundation proudly supported promising young innovators from their first pitches at Falling Walls Lab Erbil in May to their participation in the Falling Walls Science Summit 2025 in Berlin this November.
In partnership with Open Space Academy, the Foundation helped Manly Kharbosh, Sarwan Shafeeq, and Fatima Iskan refine their ideas and bring the talent and creativity of Kurdistan youth to an international audience. While Manly and Sarwan attended the summit in Berlin in person, Fatima contributed virtually, ensuring all three innovators had the opportunity to showcase their work on a global stage.
The Falling Walls Science Summit provides a platform for young scientists, researchers, and innovators to present groundbreaking ideas, engage with global experts, and explore collaborations across borders. Through its support, the Kurdistan Foundation reinforced its commitment to empowering youth, promoting scientific innovation, and connecting local talent to global opportunities.
This initiative demonstrates the Kurdistan Foundation’s continued dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders, innovators, and thinkers in Kurdistan, ensuring that young voices have both visibility and impact in the global science and innovation community.
